    PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Public Works requests proposals for the On-Call Stormwater Capture Rubber Dam System Maintenance Services (BRC0000533) contract. This contract has been designed to have a potential maximum contract term of 5 years consisting of an initial 1-year term and potential additional four 1-year option renewals. The annual contract amount of this service is estimated to be $300,000. The Request for Proposals (RFP) with contract specifications, forms, and instructions for preparing and submitting proposals may be accessed online at http://pw.lacounty.gov/brcd/servicecontracts or requested from Mr. Danny Medina at (626) 458-4080 or dmedina@pw.lacounty.gov or Mr. Simon Lee at (626) 458-2509 or simonlee@pw.lacounty.gov, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The deadline to submit proposals is Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. Please refer to the Solicitation Schedule on page 2 of the solicitation notice for all deadlines relating to this solicitation. Be advised, any changes to the due dates listed will only be made by Public Works, in writing, in the form of a Notice to the solicitation. A mandatory proposers' conference will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. via Microsoft Teams Meeting Online Events. ATTENDANCE BY THE PROPOSER OR AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE AT THE CONFERENCE IS MANDATORY. Public Works will reject proposals received from proposers whose attendance at the conference cannot be verified. Attendees should be prepared to ask questions at that time about the specifications, proposal requirements, and contract terms. After the conference, questions or requests for clarification/information may be submitted in writing for a response until Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Please direct written questions to Mr. Medina or Mr. Lee. To participate in the mandatory proposers' conference, proposers will need to sign-in on the day of the conference using the electronic sign-in sheet accessible via the following website: https://dpw.lacounty.gov/contracts/opportunities Proposers seeking to arrange any site visits must contact the Contract Manager, Mr. George Valdibia of our Stormwater Engineering Division, who may be contacted by phone at (626) 458-6138 or gvaldibia@pw.lacountv.gov, to arrange a site visit and familiarize themselves with site locations and its requirements before submitting a proposal. Proposer must coordinate with the Contract Manager to arrange a date and time of the planned site visit prior to visiting any location. All site visits should be carried out prior to the established proposal submission deadline. Minimum Mandatory Requirements: Proposers are requested to submit proposals offering On-Call Stormwater Capture Rubber Dam System Maintenance services in accordance with Exhibit A, Scope of Work, and in a format per specifications detailed in Part I, Section 2, Proposal Format and Content Requirements of this RFP. At the time of proposal submission, proposers must meet all of the minimum mandatory requirements listed in Part I, Section I, and must complete Form PW-14, Minimum Mandatory Requirements, to qualify as eligible to perform the services under this contract. Prevailing Wage Notice: The contracted work in this RFP constitutes "public works" as defined in the California Labor Code Section 1720, requiring payment of prevailing wages pursuant to Section 14, Prevailing Wages, of the RFP, Part II, Exhibit B. Please note that the services requested in this contract may include both prevailing wage and nonprevailing wage work. Proposers are required to pay prevailing wages as applicable to the contract work.
