    Description

The County of Riverside Purchasing and Fleet Department on behalf of the Riverside County Public Defender is soliciting quotations for a quantity of one (1) new cargo van as detailed in this RFQ. Vehicle not received on or before 03/06/2026 date cannot be considered for award due to holistic defense grant award funding requirements. Bidders may submit quotes for both listed vehicles or submit quotes for the individual make/model of vehicle(s) the one (1) cargo van. This is not an all or nothing award, County intends to award the lowest responsive bidder per the make/model as quoted. For this reason, Bidders are encouraged to submit their best pricing as there will be no further negotiations of cost. Bidders must fill out the Exhibit A Specification checklist and the Exhibit B Price Quote Sheet included in this solicitation and upload the final document to the General Documents section or attach to the line item response. Bidder must fill out the required Exhibit B cost sheet completely, included on the PublicPurchase bidding platform response page. For example, the CA Tire Fee must be included if this is a charge to be paid by County to awarded bidder. The quantity section will request a “per tire” fee as the unit cost – example for the cargo van would be four (4) as that is a single vehicle purchase and the vehicle has four tires. The bidding system will automatically extend the unit cost by the quantity to get the total price of each line item. Option: If Bidder has the same vehicle (or equal) as is being requested currently in their inventory and available for immediate delivery (i.e. an “off the lot” options), Bidder should 1) included a separate quote, with specifications, in the General Documents section if the intent is to bid a vehicle requiring build lead time in the line item response or 2) input the cost information in the line item bid response and indicate in the notes section “Off the Lot Option” if no other vehicle quote will be included. County will consider “off the lot” options first, if available. Bid Timeline 1. RELEASE OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATION 02/02/2026 2.
