The project is to demolish a portion of the existing paved East Orange Street roadway and widen to twenty-four (24) feet wide. The work also includes demolition of some sidewalk and curbing and construction of a new sidewalk. The project boundary will start from the intersection of Shinn Blvd and East Orange Street and tie back into the existing road prior to the Seminole Ave and East Orange Street intersection. The estimated roadway improvements are generally as follows: Sitework and Paving: • 650 LF of Road Reconstruction • 1300 LF of Curbing Construction • 300 LF of Sidewalk Construction The proposed roadway improvements are within the City of Lake Alfred ROW and FDOT ROW. The FDOT standards and MOT details are required to be followed, as necessary, for this project. In addition, the project includes all work and materials called out on the plans for maintenance of traffic, site restoration, concrete access drive restoration, pavement demolition and restoration, FDOT clearance, record drawings, and other miscellaneous work to bring the project to completion and for proper operation.
