    Description

    The County of Midland requests your participation in submitting a proposal for a joint project including the City of Midland and The County of Midland, (reference as Entity or Entities) for replacement of our current outdoor warning system. All submissions must be in accordance with the attached specifications. Proposals are due no later than 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 29, 2026 to Haley Greene, Procurement and Contracts Administrator, 3rd Floor County Services Building, 220 W. Ellsworth St., Midland, MI 48640-5194. It will be the contractor’s responsibility to ensure delivery of proposal is received by the Procurement and Contracts Office in a complete and timely manner. All proposals must be sealed and marked "Outdoor Warning System Proposal RFP" with date and hour of opening, name and address of bidder. The Entities reserves the right to accept, reject or negotiate any or all proposals, to waive or not waive informalities or irregularities in proposals or bidding procedures, and to accept any proposal determined by the Entities Representatives to be in the best interest of the Entities, whether the proposal is lowest or not. The Entities assumes no liability for any costs incurred in preparing a proposal.
