Seattle Public Utilities invites consultants to an in-person event to discuss the upcoming CSO Program and upcoming Program Management and Construction Management contract opportunities, emphasizing WMBE participation and networking.
Project Description:
Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) will host an in-person consultant event to provide an overview of the upcoming CSO Program and provide an opportunity to address questions. SPU is offering this meeting in advance of requesting proposals from consultants for a Program Management, Construction Management, Owners Advisor Contract. The solicitation will be for a phased contract to provide support through the life of the program including options analysis, design, advertisement, construction support, and close-out.
The meeting is intended to raise the level of awareness of the CSO Program in the consultant community to improve the quality of responses to the request for proposals. It is also intended as an opportunity for potential subconsultants and prime consultants to network. SPU particularly seeks to encourage teams with a healthy woman- and minority-owned business enterprise (WMBE) presence and participation.
Interested consultants are encouraged to contact the project leads, Christina Kapoi, christina.kapoi@seattle.gov, and Alan Lord, Alan.Lord@seattle.gov, with questions prior to the event.
SLED stands for State, Local, and Education. These are solicitations issued by state governments, counties, cities, school districts, utilities, and higher education institutions — as opposed to federal agencies.
