    Engineer's Estimate: $1,737,798.00 The City of Kennewick will receive sealed bids for RFB No. P2520-26 "Belfair and Umatilla Waterline”, at the Dan Frost Municipal Services Building, 1010 E. Chemical Drive, Kennewick, WA 99336, until May 12, 2026 at 11:00 A.M., and then be publicly opened and read aloud in the Frost Building Main Conference Room. This project involves water improvements to address water main breaks and to improve overall pressures in the area. The issues are in the Tri-City Heights neighborhood and around Vista Elementary School. The affected roadways include W. Umatilla Ave., W. Victoria Ave., W. Willamette Ave., N. Colorado St., N. Belfair St., and N. Young St. Work includes the installation of approximately 1723 LF of 8-inch PVC water main, 1460 LF of 12-inch ductile iron (DI) water main, 728 LF of 1-inch service lines to 24 existing meters, 5 new fire hydrant assemblies, water valves, and all associated fittings to complete the water line work. The project also includes the abandonment of the existing steel water system in place, trench pavement restoration, concrete sidewalk and curb replacement, landscaping, and other miscellaneous work to restore the project area.
