Young St. Work includes the installation of approximately 1723 LF of 8-inch PVC water main, 1460 LF of 12-inch ductile iron (DI) water main, 728 LF of 1-inch service lines to 24 existing meters, 5 new fire hydrant assemblies, water valves, and all associated fittings to complete the water line work. The project also includes the abandonment of the existing steel water system in place, trench pavement restoration, concrete sidewalk and curb replacement, landscaping, and other miscellaneous work to restore the project area.
