    Description

    Sealed bids will be received for Pavement Marking Services by the City of Brentwood through the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement, until 11:30 am, local time, on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at which time said bids will be publicly opened. Electronic submission is the required method. The City of Brentwood reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities in a bid, and to accept any bid, which, in its opinion, may be for the best interest of the City.

    • Project Scope and Purpose

      Annual On-Call Pavement Marking Services

      The work to be done consists of furnishing all skilled labor, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment necessary to perform all work and services required for providing pavement marking services for the City of Brentwood in strict accordance with the terms and provisions of this Contract and any specifications attached hereto.

      This contract shall commence from the date of above for one year unless extended or terminated earlier in accordance with the provisions hereof. In performance of this Contract, the Contractor binds himself to the City to comply fully with all provisions, undertakings, and obligations hereinafter set forth.

      This project generally consists of the pavement marking on selected streets & highways within the City of Brentwood.

    • Bid Inquires

      Bidders shall submit all inquiries regarding this bid via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement. Please note the deadline for submitting inquiries. All answers to inquiries will be posted on the City’s e-Procurement Portal. Bidders may also click “Follow” on this bid to receive an email notification when answers are posted. It is the responsibility of the bidder to check the website for answers to inquiries. Questions from Bidders must be received by noon on Monday prior to the date bids are due.

    • Project Specifications and Requirements

      All materials, equipment and techniques provided shall conform with the standards and requirements of the Tennessee Department of Transportation Bureau of Highways Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, March 1995, and the Federal Highway Administration Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. Each of these documents are specified to be an effectual part of this contract document as if published herein.

      A Five Percent (5%) Bid Bond Security is required with submission of bid document.

      Bidders are required to be licensed in accordance with State Law. The City of Brentwood reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept any bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the City, and to waive any informalities in the bids considered.

    • Bid Requirements
      1. Bids shall clearly indicate the legal name, address and telephone number of the Bidder (company, firm, and individual). Bids should be signed above the typed or printed name and title of the individual signing on behalf of the Bidder. All expenses for making Bids to the City of Brentwood shall be borne by the Bidder. All Bids shall be received byWednesday, April 15, 2026,11:30 am. Any Bid received after this time and date will not be considered.

      Bids may be received up to but not later than Wednesday, April 15, 2026, 11:30 am via the City's e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement, or to the address listed above. The City’s e-Procurement Portal Clock is the official clock for the determination of all deadline dates and times. Without exception, responses will not be accepted after the submission deadline regardless of any technical difficulties such as poor internet connections. The City strongly recommends completing your response well ahead of the deadline.

      1. The Bidder must submit a bid which demonstrates and provides evidence that the Bidder has the capabilities, professional expertise, and experience to perform the services described in this Invitation to Bid.
      2. Upon acceptance of a bid by the City, the Bidder must provide a certificate of insurance naming the City of Brentwood as an additional insured for the liability insurance coverage identified above.
