State Project Number SR000056 Perham Arsenic Site Rabbit Shed A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Mechanical, and Electrical construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. The Contractor shall: 1. Construct a 40-foot (ft) wide by 64-ft long by 14-ft high wooden post building 2. Include 40-ft pre-engineered snow loaded trusses, or equivalent 3. Include 3 Ply 2-inch (in) by 6-in laminated columns with 4-foot on-center (OC) sidewall and 6-ft OC gables, or equivalent 4. Install 40-ft by 64-ft by 6-in concrete foundation with rebar reinforcement 18-in OC, or equivalent. Note that the concrete foundation will be installed in 2027, while the building will be installed in 2026. 5. Install Wheatland Charcoal Gray 26Ga D-Rib roof, or equivalent 6. Install Wheatland Pewter 29Ga D-Rib walls, or equivalent 7. Install Wheatland Charcoal Gray siding and trim, or equivalent 8. Install RV100 ridge vent, or equivalent 9. Install ventilation fans in the peaks of the east and west ends 10. Install two 3/0-6/8 Wheatland walk doors with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant hardware outswings, or equivalent 11. Install 12 48-in by 36-in Vector vinyl slider windows with screen package, or equivalent 12. Install one 18-ft wide by 12-ft tall Midland Garage Doors non-insulated overhead door with operator and outside security light overhead, or equivalent, on the east wall. 13. Install one 10-ft wide by 12-ft tall Midland Garage Doors non-insulated overhead doors with operators and outside security light overhead, or equivalent, on the westernmost end of the north wall. 14. Tap into existing buried water line and supply one frost free spigot attached to building 15. Supply dedicated power from existing pole to include a new meter and breaker box 16. Install five electrical outlets equally spaced along each long wall (ten outlets total) 17. Install lighting inside building to provide at least 40 lumens per square foot 18. Install two new lighted exit signs with emergency lighting This solicitation includes required insurance as recommended for the project’s specifications and scope of work. This solicitation includes qualification requirements. Attachment C of the Response Form contains the qualification requirements for the solicitation. Qualification requirements include, but are not limited to: Responding company has completed as a Prime Contractor, not as a subcontractor the work for at least three contracts which have achieved Substantial Completion since 2021 for construction of a wooden post building exceeding 30 ft by 30 ft in size. Each of these contracts MUST have had a construction value of $50,000 or greater. Project Manager and Job Superintendent responsible for this project EACH has had at least three years of experience with wooden post building construction similar in scope and value to this project. Pre-Bid Meeting: A mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held at 12:00 PM on June 11, 2026, at the site located at 665 3rd Ave. SE, Perham, MN 56573. All Prime Contractors who plan to bid on this soil excavation project must attend the pre-bid meeting. The purpose of the meeting is for the Engineer to give Prime Contractors a tour of the Site to better understand the physical conditions and logistical constraints at the Site.
