It is the intent of the Invitation to Bid (ITB) to enter into an agreement with a qualified vendor to provide pest control services for Blount County, TN Schools and Government. Pre-Bid Meeting will be held 9:00AM @ 385 Court St, Room 433, Maryville, TN 37804 This meeting is not mandatory but interested General Contractors and Subs are encouraged to attend. Attendees are to meet in Room 433, which is located in the Blount County Courthouse. There will be non-mandatory attendance site visits held at the Schools, Wednesday, Aug 5, 2026, and Thursday, Aug 6, 2026 beginning each day at 8:30 a.m. The site visits for the Government locations will be held on Friday, Aug 7, 2026, beginning at 8:30 a.m. See the list in Bid Attachments regarding information on the square footage of the buildings and the site visits. These scheduled days will be the only opportunity to visit the service sites. Bid documents may be obtained at https://blounttn.ionwave.net/login.aspx. Vendors are encouraged to register with Blount County and submit their response through the online bidding system at this same link. Bidders must allow ample time to submit their response. No information may be submitted or modified beyond the Response Deadline Date / Time. Questions are due to Blount County Purchasing by 4:00 PM EST, Thursday, August 13, 2026. Please use the Questions Tab within this system to submit questions. Manual (hard copy) bids are an optional method of response and must be submitted no later than the response deadline to Blount County Courthouse, Blount County Purchasing Room 319, 385 Court St., Maryville, TN 37804-5906. The hard copy bid documentation is located just after the bid information under "CURRENT BIDS", the header "BID DOCUMENTS" labeled "BID INVITATION." These hard copy submissions must also include ALL documentation requested in the online system including, but not limited to, all online bid document attachments, response attachments, amendments, attributes and line items, and must have the Bid Cover and Contractor Form attached to the OUTSIDE of the sealed envelope, with any required license information included. Prior to bid submission, it is the bidder's responsibility to access the online bidding system and ascertain they have received any addenda and bid accordingly.
