The Grand Strand Water and Sewer Authority (hereinafter referred to as GSWSA, or Owner), has identified the Phase 1 WTP PFAS Upgrades: Myrtle Beach WTP project (Project) as a candidate project for the Construction Manager-at-Risk (CMAR) project delivery method. It is the desire of GSWSA to use the CMAR project delivery method during preconstruction and construction, with preconstruction services as outlined in Exhibit D, Article 3.1. GSWSA herewith requests proposals from interested CMAR Contractors (hereinafter referred to as Proposer or Proposers) for the Project. GSWSA intends to enter into a preconstruction services contract with the selected Proposer pursuant to the information contained in this Request for Proposals (RFP). Following completion of preconstruction services, GSWSA intends to enter into a construction services contract with the selected Proposer if mutual agreement is reached on one or more Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposals for the Project. This solicitation does not limit the project to a single GMP or a fixed scope of work. At the Owner’s sole discretion additional GMPs may be issued to incorporate additional, or modify the presented, work packages as the project progresses.
