No public opening of proposals will be conducted. Description: SRMT is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, tools, plant, equipment, supervision and incidentals necessary to supply and install a Pre-Engineered Metal Building on Concrete Foundation, build out interior space, and to further provide site clearing, expansion of facility access road and other improvements to the SRMT Transfer Station at 179 County Reoute 43, Fort Covington, NY, all more particularly identified in the Proposal Documents. A Pre-Proposal/Bid meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 7, 2026 beginning at 10:00 a.m. (local time) at the SRMT's Planning & Infrastructure Boardroom, 2817 State Rt 95, Bombay, NY. If necessary, a site visition will be held directly after. Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates, Domestic Preference, Proposal/Bid and Contract Security are all mandatory requirements of this call as well as the following preferences: Native Preference, Women Business Enterprises & Veteran with Disabilities Business Enterprises and Minority Business Enterprises and Veterans Business Enterprises. In accordance with SRMT's Native American Preference Policy, the SRMT will give preference in the award of a Contract to approved Native American Owned Businesses/Companies, as certified by the SRMT's Compliance Division. Any proposer claiming Native American Preference MUST give evidence to support this claim with their submitted proposal. The successful Contractor, as well las their Sub-Contractors, will be required to complete a Native American Preference Employment Plan and Agreement. THE SAINT REGIS MOHAWK TRIBE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT ANY PROPOSAL, WHETHER IT IS THE LOWEST OR NOT, OR MAY REJECT ANY AND ALL PROPOSALS OF THIS CALL.
