      The City of White House, TN (City), is seeking bids for the project entitled PICKLEBALL COURTS PROJECT.

    • Important Instructions Submittals

      The City of White House is NOT accepting electronic bid submissions. Only mail in or drop-off bids excepted. Bidders are welcomed to create a FREE account with OpenGov Procurement by signing up at https://procurement.opengov.com/signup.

      A certified check or cashier’s check payable to the City of White House or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by a corporate surety licensed under the laws of Tennessee
      to execute such Bonds in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid.

      The Bid deposit shall be retained by the City of White House if the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract or fails to provide the required Bonds, Insurance
      and other requirements as outlined during the contract award and agreement process in the project timeline included below.

      The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish separate one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bonds. The Performance Bond shall be in full
      force and effect for one (1) year after the date of final acceptance of the project by the City of White House.

      Each Bidder must be appropriately licensed as a Contractor in the State of Tennessee as provided in T.C.A. 62-6-101. The Bidder’s name, license number, expiration
      date, and that part of the contracting classification applying to the Bid shall appear on the sealed envelope containing the Bid; otherwise, the Bid shall not
      be opened.

      Attention is called to the fact that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color,
      religion, sex, or national origin. Each Bidder shall make positive efforts and are encouraged to use small and minority owned business enterprises on this project.

      The City of White House reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept any presented which meet or exceed these specifications, and/or which would be in the
      best interest of the City and will not necessarily be bound to accept the low bid.

       

    • Scope of Work or Project Details

      Copies of the Bid Documents may be examined and obtained via CSR Engineering, located at 2010 Hwy 49E, Pleasant View, TN 37146, upon payment of $50.00 for each digital set, emailed or made available on a disk drive. There will be no refund to any party for Bid Documents so obtained. No bids will be received by parties not on the official bid list consequent to obtaining official Bid Documents.
