Vehicle Bid Notification Crook County Natural Resource District (CCNRD) is looking for a pickup that will be used for field work and hauling of District equipment. Multiple vehicles from the same dealership are welcome. Bids must provide detailed information on vehicle features or a window sticker is acceptable. Bidders should deliver the vehicle to the mechanic for inspection while the CCNRD will cover the inspection bill provided by the mechanic. Vehicle must be delivered to Sundance, Wyoming 82729. Preference will be given to the vehicle that meets the listed requirements, preferred options and is within our budget. CCNRD has 2 vehicles to offer as trade-in value. Vehicle Requirements: Pickup, ¾ ton or larger Bed size no less than 6.5ft Gasoline or diesel engine 4wd or awd Towing package 4 doors Seats five passengers or more $15,000 or less No larger than 18-inch tires 200,000 miles or less 10 ply tires Trailer brake controller Trade-In Vehicles: 2005 Ford Explorer with 198,467 miles. Trade-in value estimated at $2200 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe with approx 165,000 miles. Estimated Trade-in value at $6000 Bids are due May 22nd, 2026, by 5:00 pm. All bids must be labeled to identify them as sealed bids. Bids mailed to the office need to be post marked by May 20th, 2026, by 12:00 pm. The top three bids will be notified by June 10th, 2026. Bids can be submitted via Public Purchase or mailed to CCNRD at P.O. Box 1070 Sundance, WY 82729. Bids will not be considered if they are received after May 20th at 5:00 pm, unless they were postmarked by 12:00 pm on May 20th, 2026. The CCNRD reserves the right to reject any, or all bids, or accept any bid which in its sole and absolute judgment that best serves the interest of the CCNRD. The CCNRD Board of Supervisors reserves the right to select the vehicle that will accomplish the goals of the CCNRD which will be determined by majority. Preference will be awarded to in-state and in-county vehicles that meet our needs.
