Proposals can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Donna Golding, County Clerk for the Pierce County Board of Commissioners, 312 Nichols Street, Suite 5 Blackshear, Georgia 31516. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. The Pierce County Board of Commissioners may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids. The Scope of Work Includes: Rehabilitation improvements for Tiger Field Recreation Park. All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Owner in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the Owner. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All work on the project must be completed within 270 consecutive calendar days of the Notice to Proceed Date.
