Pilot Point WWTP Improvements - Work Package #06 - Treatment Structures

This Work Package includes furnishing and constructing treatment-related structures, process piping, equipment supports, and startup services in accordance with the Contract Documents.

Key Scope Elements:

• Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, incidentals, and insurance necessary for construction of the following major treatment facilities: Effluent Filters, UV Disinfection Structure, Non-Potable Water Holding and Pumping, Effluent Parshall Flume, Cascade Aeration, Discharge Structure, Sludge Handling, Sludge Loading, and Polymer Feed Systems.

• Piping: Excavate, install, connect, test, and backfill all piping and manholes, including connections to existing systems. Provide all trench safety plans, protective systems, equipment, and labor in accordance with applicable regulations and Contract Documents. Piping systems include:

  • Non-Potable Water (NPW): Lines 11, 18

  • Final Effluent (FE): Lines 8A, 8B, 9, 10

  • Drain Line (DR): Lines 17D, 17G

  • Secondary Effluent (SE): Lines 5C, 6, 7, 7A

  • Sludge (SL): Lines 16A, 16B

• Equipment Pads: Form, reinforce, and pour all equipment pads in accordance with the Contract Documents.

• Post-Structure Work: Furnish and install all remaining piping, equipment, and materials following slab and wall completion by Work Package #07.

• Site Restoration: Restore all disturbed areas to match surrounding grades per the Contract Documents.

• Borrow Area: Utilize the Borrow Area for backfill or disposal of clean spoils, as permitted.

• Startup & Testing: Provide complete startup, functional testing, commissioning, and operator training for all applicable systems, equipment, and structures in accordance with project specifications.

Schedule & Milestones:

• SHF Underslab Rough-In (Ready for WP#07): On or before September 30, 2026.

• UV Structure Ready for WP#07: Structure complete and backfilled on or before November 30, 2026; coordinate all equipment installation with WP#07.

• Backfill & Ready for Site Civil: On or before August 2, 2027 (±0.10’ of final subgrade).

• Operationally Ready: On or before December 2, 2027, per Specification 01 75 23.

• Treatment Complete: On or before March 23, 2028.

• Failure to meet required milestones or final completion date will result in liquidated damages of $2,500 per day.

Permitting & Coordination:

• Coordinate required inspections and activities in accordance with the Contract Documents and City of Pilot Point requirements.
