Key Scope Elements:
Chain Link Fence Installation: Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals to install approximately 2,816 LF of chain link fence using the connection points shown on Detail C-13 of the Contract Documents. Fence height shall be as indicated on the Drawings.
Fence Site Preparation: Clear fence alignment of obstructions and grade surfaces to conform to existing ground contours. Provide a minimum 2-foot cleared width on each side of the fence alignment. Dispose of cleared and excavated materials as directed by the Engineer and backfill all holes with suitable soil.
Demolition: Demolish and dispose of existing fencing as shown on the Contract Documents, including approximately 600 LF of existing barbed wire fencing not shown on the Drawings but included in the scope.
Railroad Easement Coordination: If access within a railroad easement is required, coordinate all activities with the applicable railroad entities in accordance with the Contract Documents and governing regulations.
Subsurface Utility Coordination: Perform Subsurface Utility Exploration (SUE) and utility locates as required prior to commencement of construction activities.
Landowner Coordination: Coordinate with the landowner to temporarily remove cattle or other livestock from fence installation areas as required. Contractor shall be fully responsible for coordination, execution, and timing to maintain the Project schedule.
Site Restoration: Restore all disturbed areas to match surrounding grades in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Permits & Inspections: Coordinate and obtain all required permits, certificates, and inspections in accordance with the Contract Documents and City of Pilot Point requirements.
Borrow Area: Borrow Area may be used for backfill or disposal of clean spoils in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Schedule & Milestones:
Eastern & Southern Fence Sections Complete: On or before June 8, 2026.
Security Fence Complete: On or before July 17, 2026.
Failure to meet milestone or completion dates will result in liquidated damages of $2,500 per day.
