Q (Bid Bond): Page 8, section 2.23 mentions a Bid Bond to be uploaded. Will that be required for this RFQ? If so what % and what $ would we base it off of?
A: A bid bond will not be required on this project. A public construction bond will be executed for the full amount of the project if any project requires a light construction agreement, but that will be on a project-by-project basis.
Q (Pre Bid Meeting): Will there be a pre-bid meeting? Or site visit?
A: No. The sites are not yet identified, as this is a solicitation for as-needed services for every City-owned facility that may need the goods and/or services being solicited.
Q (Anonymous): Can vendors participate in a product supply capacity for specific categories, without providing full turnkey installation services?
A: Yes.
Q (No subject): Is “waterplay” equipment splash pad equipment?
A: Yes, splash pad equipment is included in this category.
SLED stands for State, Local, and Education. These are solicitations issued by state governments, counties, cities, school districts, utilities, and higher education institutions — as opposed to federal agencies.
