Colorado State University (CSU) hereby gives notice of its intent to purchase a Swisens’ Poleno Jupiter Field-Deployable Real-Time Bioaerosol Monitor System via sole source. The bioaerosol monitor system will enable CSU to achieve research objectives within the department of Atmospheric Sciences to classify single particles using advanced AI/ML databases that can be expanded and refined by users. The research planned for this instrument is multifaceted, evaluating the instrument in comparison to other aerosol instrumentation at the start to quantify detection efficiencies and absolute fluorescence measurement capabilities. CSU will also use the instrument to compare aerosol size distribution measurement and evaluate measurement uncertainties.
