    CONSTRUCTION INVITATION TO BID ISSUED BY: Department of Buildings & General Services Police and Fire Academy Stormwater Upgrades ISSUE DATE: July 29, 2026 BIDDERS CONFERENCE: There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting at the site on August 6, 2026 at 10:00 AM (EST). Meet at the BGS Maintenance Building located 405 Academy Road. QUESTIONS DUE: August 20, 2026 – 4:30 PM (EST) RESPONSES DUE BY: September 2, 2026– 4:30 PM (EST) STATE CONTACT: James Meyers, State Senior Purchasing Agent E-MAIL : BGS.OPCVendorDocs@vermont.gov Contractors are invited to bid on the Police and Fire Academy Stormwater Upgrades Project for Buildings and General Services at 317 Academy Road in Pittsford, Vermont. This project consists of, but is not limited to: The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Installation of erosion prevention and sediment control measures. 2. Drainage improvements. 3. Construction of five (5) new subsurface stormwater treatment chambers with overflow and outlet structures with discharge pipe. 4. Construction of one (1) new curtain drain 5. Pavement repairs to match existing conditions. 6. Finish grading, seeding, and mulching of disturbed areas. Maintenance of seeded areas until established.
