Q (Environmental Support for Police Department Evidence Area Remodel): I saw the bid notice for the Police Department Evidence Area Remodel project. My firm is not a construction contractor, but we do provide environmental consulting services, including asbestos inspections, hazardous materials surveys, and air quality support. Before you finalize the scope, I wanted to check whether the City anticipates needing any environmental subcontracting or asbestos-related services for this renovation. If so, I’d be glad to provide a proposal or any required documentation. Thank you
A: The construction area has previously been tested for hazardous materials, and all results were negative.
Q (Fire Alarm & BAS vendors): Hi. Does the City have vendors contracted for the fire alarm & HVAC controls at the Police Station? Can you provide contacts, if applicable?
