    The Pennsauken Township, NJ , is soliciting proposals for Police Outside Duty Competitive Contract. Proposals are to be submitted via the Township's eProcurement Portal via https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/pennsauken PRIOR TO 10:30 am on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Late proposals will not be accepted.

    Project work includes

    The Township seeks the management and administration of the Police Department’s Off-Duty Detail on their behalf (commonly referred to as “Extra Duty”). In accordance with Township Code all patrol officers, sergeants and Lieutenants ("Pennsauken police officers") employed by the Township of Pennsauken Police Department may be permitted to perform extra duty details for police-related matters for private or public entities subject to the terms and conditions of the Township Code and departmental policy.


    The successful bidder shall be responsible for the administration of all off- duty police details including requests for service, scheduling work, invoicing and collection of payments.

        4. Does the contractor have a record of moral integrity?
      3. Availability of personnel, facilities, equipment and other resources:
        1. To what extent does the contractor rely on in-house resources vs. contracted resources?
        2. Are the availability of in-house and contract resources documented?
      4. Qualification and experience of personnel:
        1. Documentation of experience in performing similar work by employees?
        2. Does the contractor make use of business capabilities or initiatives that involve women, the disadvantaged, small and/or minority owned business establishments?
        3. Does the contractor demonstrate cultural sensitivity in hiring and training staff?
