Following approval, work will commence once contracts and permits are finalized, with substantial completion expected by late October. Q: Are there any division specifications, electrical, mechanical, detail drawing besides the engineered building plans that are available on the Public Purchase site for this project? The contractor would be responsible for the design and implementation of that bid alternate. Q: Is there another plan set available that includes other division specs and details besides what is here on Public Purchase? This will help determine accuracy and detail specifics on how our bids proposals are completed. Thank you A: The engineered plans are all that have been completed so far and have been included in the bid documents. Q: Is there an engineer's estimate or cost range available for this project? A: No answer provided yet. Q: Is a bid bond required? A: Yes. To be considered, bidders must submit a proposal that includes payment and performance bonds, insurance, and applicable licenses to perform work within Idaho. Category A is competitive bidding to which the award shall go to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. Category B requires a prequalification stage to include submitting references and/or project experience. Following conclusion of the prequalification process, the Owner shall notify the approved bidders. The approved bidders will then submit their bid proposal and the award shall go to the lowest responsive bidder. Please advise which Category this project falls under, as the bid evaluation provided states that they are not solely based on price. A: Thank you for catching this. We have created addendum 1 to correct this. This bid falls under 67-2805(a) competitive bid. Please review addendum 1 and include it with your bid documents. Q: What sort of site prep is required for this project. Will there be a civil engineered plan for dirt work and and soil mitigation? A: Per the invitation to bid, contractors wanting to see the proposed site location may contact Jeremiah Jess to walk the site to identify the prep needed.
