    Description

The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Atlanta Department of Transportation, will shortly undergo a Multi-Step Competitive Sealed Bidding process comprised of a qualification phase as the initial step, followed by an Invitation for Bid (IFB), for the procurement of qualified contractors to provide emergency on-call debris removal, snow and ice abatement, obstruction removal, and disaster response services. The selected contractor or contractors will provide labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and qualified drivers/operators to assist City personnel with clearing, removal, hauling, processing, and disposal of debris, ice, snow, and other obstructions from City roadways, bridges, culverts, parking lots, sidewalks, crosswalks, rights-of-way, and other City-owned or maintained property. The City reserves the right to award multiple vendors determined to be responsible and responsive. Interested and qualified vendors must demonstrate the ability to provide rapid emergency response services, including snow and ice pretreatment, deicing, snow plowing, snow hauling, non-hazardous debris removal, and related disaster response support. Vendors must have the required licenses, certifications, insurance, equipment, trained operators, supervisory capacity, and operational readiness to mobilize within required timelines and perform services in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal requirements. A Pre-Solicitation Conference will be noticed and held to provide more details and address questions. Hope to see you there.
