    The Detroit Economic Growth Association (“DEGA”) is seeking competitive bids from qualified architectural design firms, design build firms, or development firms with architectural staff or subcontracts (each, a “Firm”) to develop: A standardized set of permit-ready, construction-ready housing prototypes adaptable to typical residential lots in Detroit, including bid-level documentation and fully engineered permit sets. Concept designs for missing middle housing of two or more units or carriage houses for common city parcels 30-70 feet wide DEGA expects to select one or multiple Firms to perform the scope of services described herein. Firms may submit proposals for A, B, or both A and B. The provision of the services will be coordinated with appropriate City of Detroit departments, including, but not limited to, Planning and Development; Buildings, Safety Engineering, and Environmental; and Housing and Revitalization Departments. DEGA will be the contracting party; however, the final work product will be used by and/or made available for use by the City of Detroit. The Scope of Services that are subject to this RFP will be funded, in part, by Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (“PRO Housing”) program is administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”), and all Services performed pursuant to this RFP must comply with 2 CFR Part 200 and 24 CFR Part 570, and applicable state and local law, including but not limited to applicable regulations set forth in Section IV of this RFP.
