Prequalification for Wildlife Sanctuary Waterline Replacement Project

The project consists of the complete replacement of the existing water distribution and irrigation systems within the Mt. SAC Wildlife Sanctuary. The primary objective is to install a new, durable water network primarily utilizing High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) piping while abandoning the existing aging infrastructure, including transite (ACP) systems, in place. The scope includes comprehensive demolition of select above-grade and below-grade utilities, extensive trenching and earthwork throughout the sanctuary's varied terrain, and the installation of new main lines, lateral lines, valves, and a modernized irrigation control system. All work must be executed with strict adherence to environmental protections to preserve the sanctuary’s sensitive landscape and existing water bodies.

The Wildlife Sanctuary Waterline Replacement Project requires contractors to complete a mandatory prequalification process prior to submitting a bid. This prequalification is intended to ensure that firms possess the appropriate experience, technical qualifications, financial capacity, and licensing necessary to successfully perform the scope of work associated with this project.

All prequalification packages must be submitted electronically through the designated link. Hard copy submissions will not be accepted. Contractors are responsible for ensuring that all required documentation is complete and submitted by the stated deadline in order to be considered.

Upon review, firms that meet the established criteria will receive a formal prequalification approval notification via the solicitation management system. Only contractors who receive this approval will be eligible and invited to participate in the bidding process.

Contractors are encouraged to carefully review the prequalification requirements and allow adequate time to compile and submit all required materials. Failure to successfully complete the prequalification process will render a firm ineligible to submit a bid for the Wildlife Sanctuary Waterline Replacement Project.
