    The New York State Office of General Services (OGS), Division of Real Estate, Utilities Management, operates the River Front Pumping Station (RFPS) and associated Cooling Water Intake System (CWIS) located at 1 Quay Street on the west shore of the Hudson River in Albany, NY. The purpose of this solicitation is to award a contract to perform preventative checks and required annual maintenance for a period of five years to ensure safe and effective operations of the Riverfront Pumping Station Bar, Traveling Water, Wedge Wire Water Screen Systems and other mission critical infrastructure assets at the shoreline property. A large portion of the services herein may be subject to diverse vendors for subcontracting needs; OGS will require documented end of service vendor reports for circulation and archiving. The following minimum requirements must be met by each Bidder: A. Contractor must have been in business of maintaining, installing and/or inspecting bar, traveling water and wedge wire water screen systems or equivalent to this industry of work, for at least two years. The Mandatory Site Visit will be held at: 1 Quay Street, Albany, NY 12202 Due to security restrictions, all Bidders are strongly encouraged to pre-register with Aniksa Merced at Aniksa.Merced@ogs.ny.gov at least 24 hours in advance of the site visit date and time as listed above in Section 1.3 – Key Events. It is recommended that attendees arrive at the building at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled time with photo identification. There is also an Optional Pre-Bid Conference Webinar on the date and time indicated in Section 1.3 – Key Events, which will provide informational highlights on the scope of services for this solicitation.
