    Project Name: Multi-Jurisdiction Local Hazard Mitigation Plan Date: December 05, 2025 Description: The County of Marin, through its office of Emergency Management (OEM) seeks qualified consulting firms with demonstrated experience in hazard mitigation planning to assist with the expansion and update of Marin County’s FEMA-approved Multi-Jurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (MJLHMP). The selected consultant will lead development, drafting, and coordination of a comprehensive hazard mitigation plan that incorporates participation from all K-12 public schools and special districts within Marin County, through final adoption by participating jurisdiction and formal FEMA approval. This planning effort is funded through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) DR-4699-AP01636. The selected consultant will be expected to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000, 44 CFR §201.6, and the 2025 FEMA Local Mitigation Planning Policy Guide and all work performed to adhere to federal and state requirements.
