    Project Name: Professional Banking Services Date: January 13, 2026 Description: The Marin County Department of Finance (DOF), under the direction of the County Treasurer, is responsible for the receipt, safekeeping, and disbursement of public funds belonging to the County and other depositors in the County Treasury. Periodic evaluation of the County’s banking relationships ensures continued cost-effectiveness, modernization, and alignment with industry standards and security best practices. The County seeks proposals from qualified financial institutions (“Proposers”) to provide comprehensive banking services that support the County’s financial operations. The selected institution will serve as the County’s primary provider of banking and treasury management services, including deposits, disbursements, information reporting, fraud-prevention tools, and merchant card processing, and more as described in Section III (Scope of Work). The resulting agreement will be a multi-year contract, structured as a five-year initial term with two additional two-year renewal options, for a maximum potential term of nine years. This solicitation does not include custody or safekeeping of the County’s investment pool, which remains under separate custodial arrangements.
