    Description

    The State University of New York at Stony Brook (“SUNY Stony Brook”), on behalf of the State University of New York (“SUNY”), is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit proposals for project management and implementation services in support of ProcureNEXT: SUNY’s Nexus for Excellence in Procurement Technology initiative. ProcureNEXT is a multi-phase, system-wide transformation designed to modernize, standardize, and optimize procurement operations across 29 state-operated SUNY campuses, while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. The initiative will establish a unified, technology-enabled procurement environment anchored by the Jaggaer eProcurement System and supported by advanced tools and processes. ProcureNEXT will focus on establishing a common foundation of procurement technology and capabilities across sourcing, contract lifecycle management, eProcurement, and invoicing, while also advancing spend analytics, robotic process automation, and other tools. This project includes two components: Component 1: Jaggaer System Adoption and Campus Optimization - Technical implementation and onboarding to ensure consistent adoption of Jaggaer across 29 state-operated SUNY campuses. Component 2: Technology Enablement and Integration - Integration of AI tools, automation technologies, and analytics to improve procurement efficiency, decision-making, and service delivery. This initiative supports SUNY’s strategic goals of improving operational efficiency, increasing adoption of procurement best practices, centralizing support resources, and enhancing visibility into system-wide procurement activity.
