The City is soliciting qualification statements from experienced and qualified firms or individuals to provide professional architectural and engineering design services for the redevelopment of the Coral Springs Sportsplex. Services shall include, but are not limited to, the preparation of specifications, construction drawings, cost estimates, project administration, and support throughout the procurement process.
This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), Florida Statutes 287.055.
The Coral Springs Sportsplex, located at Sportsplex Drive and Royal Palm Boulevard and currently encompassing the Coral Springs Aquatic Complex, is planned for comprehensive redevelopment. The project includes the construction of a 12-court basketball gymnasium, renovation of the existing aquatic complex, and the addition of new community-focused amenities. The upgraded facilities are anticipated to feature food and beverage areas, front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations, gathering and congregation spaces, flexible meeting rooms, training and fitness areas, locker rooms, administrative offices, and a family entertainment area. The objective of this redevelopment is to position the Sportsplex as a premier destination capable of hosting major national tournaments while enhancing recreational offerings for the community

The Evaluation Committee will evaluate all offerors received submissions and may then select to short list qualified firms. The Evaluation Committee Member will score each received submission based on the overall value of the Proposer’s response. The Evaluation Committee will score responses from “1” being the highest ranked proposer, “2” for the second highest ranked proposer, and so on, for the total number of responses under consideration. The firm with lowest combined scores will be deemed as the highest ranked shortlisted proposer.
The Committee’s evaluation process will include presentations by the short-listed firms. The Committee will score the presentations utilizing the same methodology as for the shortlisting of the firms. The Evaluation Committee Member will score each received submission based on the overall value of the Proposer’s presentation. The Evaluation Committee will score responses from “1” being the highest ranked proposer, “2” for the second highest ranked proposer, and so on, for the total number of responses under consideration.
