    SECTION 1 - INTRODUCTION 1.1 Project Description: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to provide interested parties with information to enable them to prepare and submit a proposal for professional debt collection agency services under contract with Yakima County District Court. Yakima County District Court/Probation Services and Contracted Municipal Courts (referred to as County throughout this document) as represented by County Purchasing , intends to use the results of this solicitation to award a contract for such services. 1.2 Scope and Objective: The County is requesting Professional Debt Collection Services to facilitate payments on delinquent accounts owed to the Courts and Probation Services from the debtors.
