    Description

    There will be a Mandatory Information Session with respect to this RFP at 10:00 AM., May 20, 2026, for new Station 5 in the lobby of Rotella Magnet School, 380 Pierpont Rd, Waterbury, Connecticut. THOSE NOT ATTENDING THE SESSION WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL. The WDC has proposed that Fire Station 5 (the “Station”) be located and constructed on approximately 59,528 square feet (or 1.37 acres) portion of the Rotella Magnet School property located on Pierpont Road in Waterbury, CT. The existing Station 5 located on East Main Street has undergone an assessment whereas renovation costs may not be the best use of resources when compared to the cost of a new station. This RFP includes the Design Phase, Bidding Phase, and Construction Administration Services including any additional necessary associated services for that new station.
