    Description

    The City of Auburn, NY is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide contractual services to the Auburn Police Department for the 2026-27 Statewide Targeted Reductions in Initiative Patner Violence (STRIVE) program funded under the State of New York Division of Criminal Justice Services (NYS DCJS) agency. The purpose of the STRIVE initiative is to provide collaboration between the local DA Office, local law enforcement agencies and local domestic violence service providers. To prepare for the upcoming 2026-27 STRIVE grant program, the Auburn Police Department (APD), as a member of the Cayuga County STRIVE Initiative, and per the requirements of the NYS DCJS funding is in need of a dedicated STRIVE Program Coordinator. Therefore, APD is looking for a long-term consultant agreement to carry out the STRIVE Project Coordinator requirements set to start April 1, 2026. APD is looking to engage a firm for an initial period of 1-year with the ability to renew the agreement for up to three (3) one (1) year extensions for a total engagement period of four (4) years. The STRIVE Program is funded through the State of New York with the standard grant terms and conditions. Please see Appendix B of the RFQ for contract goals of 30% MWBE participation. The STRIVE Program Coordinator is expected to be a part-time consulting position.
