    The County of Riverside Purchasing on behalf of The Emergency Management Department is soliciting quotations for HealthCare Coalition (HCC) Public Safety Radio Enterprise (PSEC) Radios as detailed in this RFQ. Purchase of handheld radios to replace existing radios that are at the end of their serviceable life and are experiencing increased failures. These radios are intended for use by hospitals/clinics and Medical Health Operational Area Coordinator (MHOAC) Officers for communication with each other in emergency situations, such as disasters and evacuations. Additional system/programming requirements for compliance with the PSEC/ Very high Frequency (VHF) system will be further provided in the RFQ. Bidders should note that delivery of the equipment no later than the month of April, or earlier if available, is critical to meet funding source deadlines.
