Public Health Accreditation Board

The Florida Department of Health (DOH), Public Health Statistics & Performance Management (PHSPM), has a need to purchase the annual accreditation services designed to ensure the Department continues to improve and advance the health communities throughout the state. PHAB nationally adopted standards and measures, provides an assigned accreditation specialist and education material for the accreditation process. It also includes a peer review of accreditation documents and a virtual site visit by a peer review experts, a follow-up report by PHAB’s Accreditation Committee, a communications support package to engage and educate stakeholders, annual guidance and support to help sustain quality improvement and prepare the Department to be successful in a changing public health world. In accordance with Chapter 60A-1.045, Florida Administrative Code, the Florida Department of Health, PHSPM, requests authorization to purchase, as a single source, annual accreditation services from Public Health Accreditation Board services.
