PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Remodel of the existing ‘Ebay building’ into a technical High School for Canyons School District. Scope in this bid package includes the demolition and remodel of the existing office spaces into new classrooms, shop spaces, computer labs, cosmetology improvements, etc. Only Work Scopes included in CM/GC’s Bid Manual for this project Dated 2/20/2026 will be procured in this bid package. BID/PROPOSAL EVALUATION: Bids will be opened, processed, and evaluated as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders using information provided on the Bid Form regarding the following objective criteria: PREREQUISITES: Bidder must (1) be authorized to do business in Draper, Utah, (2) possess all necessary contractor licensing, insurance, and bonding required by the Work Scope(s) being bid, (3) agree to be bound by the applicable terms of the prime contract, the terms of CM/GC’s Sample Master Subcontract Agreement and the Sample Notice To Proceed included in CM/GC’s Bid Manual, and (4) agree to submit timely responses to CM/GC’s requests for additional information regarding Bidder and/or its Bid. BID AMOUNT & TOTAL COST: Bids evaluated for the lowest total cost to the project, considering any discounts offered, apparent savings, costs of transportation, storage, maintenance, operation, etc. RESPONSIVENESS: Bids evaluated for meeting the Project Documents requirements regarding (1) Work Scope, (2) specifications, (3) product and/or service quality, (4) meeting required warranty standards, (5) meeting project scheduling requirements and coordination with other trades, to the fullest extent those items are detailed or inferable in the Project Documents. RESPONSIBILITY: Bids evaluated based on (1) Bidder’s past, present, and projected manpower, work capabilities, and capacity to perform the Work Scope, (2) Bidder’s past performance on projects of similar size and scope, (3) Bidders experience with public school construction, (4) Bidder’s past and particularly any pending legal claims related to its work, (5) Bidders history of labor, safety, and environmental compliance, (6) Bidder’s financial capability to perform and/or bond the Work Scope, (7) Bidder’s continuity of ownership and operational staff. In accordance with U.C.A. 63G-6a, U.A.R. R33, and CSD policy, this notice and procurement, or any portion thereof, may be amended, delayed, or canceled; any or all bids or proposals may be rejected, in whole or in part; and any formality or technicality in any bid or proposal may be waived in the best interest of the CSD. The CM/GC, in its sole discretion, may designate individual Work Scopes, or portions thereof, to be procured through a multiple-stage Bidding process or a Request for Proposals process. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Sample subcontract documents, applicable insurance and/or surety requirements, and other compliance obligations are outlined in CM/GC’s Bid Manual for this project. WORK SCOPES PREVIOUSLY BID: The following work scopes were bid in a previous Bid Package and are not included: BP#1 - Trades Building.
