    The City of Oroville (City) seeks to obtain the services of experienced CA Class B contractors to perform construction services related to a housing rehabilitation (rehab) project funded by the City's Housing Rehab Program. Project: Housing rehab for a detached single sotry, single family dwelling Projecy Location: Baldwin Ave, Oroville, CA 95965 Project summary (may not be all inclusive/subject to change/RR = Remove/Replace RR existing roofing & some sheathing RR existing gutters/downspouts Misc electrical & support reparis/replacements at rooftop evap cooler RR main support beam at front porch Form/pour small concrete slab on grade RR ungrounded 3 prong receptables throughout dwelling/label subpanel breakers Correct substandard main electrical grounding Bathroom renovation RR existing NG water heater RR kitchen Formica countertops RR kitchen lighting/correct deficient wiring RR rot damaged interior window trim Prep/prime/paint all new exposed exterior components Class B contractors: 1. Will organize and coordinate all rehab construction work, installations, and subconractors , in conjunction with projecyand contract management and oversight by City. 2. Will need current general libility insurance coverage (min $1,000,000), and current Worker's Compensation insurance coverage as required by law. How to participate: 1. Only contractors who respond to this notice the date noted above will receive a bid packet (scope of work, details, specifications, etc) and be permitted to bid this project. Selection cirteria to include, but is not limited to, cost, qualifications, experience, availability, compatibility. 2. This is not a sealed bid process, and prevailing wage does not apply to this project.
