    Description

    The City of Rosenberg is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the following:

    • Rosenberg Civic Center - 3825 State Highway 36 S, Rosenberg, TX 77471
      • Purchase and Turnkey installation of one (1) 400KW natural gas generator on engineered concrete pad and one (1) 800-amp Automatic Transfer Switch.  Furnish and install battery charger and block heater circuits to generator. 

    This generator will mitigate the above location from power loss due to natural hazards. The generator will be installed with an automatic transfer switch (as specified herein) on concrete pad as specified herein. The project will be in compliance with latest edition of codes and standards required by Federal, State and Local rules and regulations. Contractor shall be responsible for all coordination with the gas service provider including all permitting, right-of-way permitting, appropriate gas line size, and installation of gas line from gas main to meter and from meter to generator.

    This is an acknowledgement that FEMA financial assistance will be used to fund all or a portion of the contract. The selected contractor will comply with all applicable federal law, regulations, executive orders, FEMA policies, procedures, wage documentation and directives.
