Purchase and Install of Natural Gas Generators - Multiple Lift Stations

The City of Rosenberg is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the following:

• Purchase and Turnkey Installation of Eight (8) Permanent 200kw Natural Gas Generators with 600 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch, unless alternate smaller size is deemed more appropriate, on new engineered concrete pad. Where specified, remove and dispose of existing fence (not brick); furnish and install new chain-link fence (re-install signs) with 3 barbed wire top, privacy slats, and three rail double swing gates in existing fence location. Fence to be galvanized chain-link with 9-gauge fabric and schedule 40 posts set in 30-inch depth of concrete.

    • Lift Station 25 - 2230 1/2 J Meyer Road
    • Lift Station 27 - 6801 Reading Road

These generators will mitigate the above locations from power loss due to natural hazards. The generators will be installed with an automatic transfer switch on a concrete pad as specified herein. The project will be in compliance with latest edition of codes and standards required by Federal, State and Local rules and regulations. Contractor shall be responsible for all coordination with the gas service provider including all permitting, right-of-way permitting, appropriate gas line size, and installation of gas line from gas main to meter and from meter to generator.

This is an acknowledgement that FEMA financial assistance will be used to fund all or a portion of the contract. The selected contractor will comply with all applicable federal law, regulations, executive orders, FEMA policies, procedures, wage documentation and directives.

*Note: Vendors may choose to bid on one or more locations. Bids must be submitted for complete locations, bids for equipment only or install only at select locations will not be considered.
