    REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP No. PW-B90000-19E The Nassau County Department of Public Works intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for services in connection with the following: Purchase & Delivery of Electricity to Various County Facilities Program The County of Nassau desires to retain a Firm or Firms to provide Electricity Purchase and Delivery Services to the County. The purpose of the RFP is to provide Nassau County with proposals for the establishment of a Program for the purchase and delivery of electricity to Various County Facilities. Sealed Proposals regarding this project are due on or before 3:00 P.M. on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the location specified within the RFP. No late proposals will be accepted. Please note that this is not the Request for Proposals. An actual copy of the RFP and related Addenda may be obtained here: https://apex5.nassaucountyny.gov/ords/f?p=533:226. To access these documents, click on the “Vendor Portal” link. Vendors doing business with Nassau County, including those responding to this solicitation, must register with the County. The Nassau County Bid Solicitation Boards are open to all registered vendors. Vendors that have not registered are able to view open solicitation opportunities, but they are not able to download solicitation documents or submit bids or proposals. The selected firm will be required to provide proof of general and professional liability insurance in the minimum amounts of $2,000,000 in the aggregate and $1,000,000 per occurrence, respectively. The proposer shall be required to comply with a good faith effort M/WBE goal and good faith effort minimum of 6% SDVOB goal for this project and with the requirements of Local Laws No. 14-2002, “Participation by Minority Group Members and Women in Nassau County Contracts,” and 2-2016, “Participation of Service-Disabled Veterans in County Contracts.” All Proposers should review the provisions of Appendix EE (included as an attachment to the RFP) which outlines the requirements of Local law No. 14-2002. Technical proposals shall include information regarding the Proposers plan to comply with Local Law No. 14-2002 and Local Law 2-2016. MWBE UTILIZATION PLAN – In accordance with Title 53, Nassau County Local Law No. 14-2002, all Vendors shall submit a MWBE Utilization Plan with their Proposal.
