    PUBLIC NOTICENOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BIDSacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) announces that it will seek bids for the purchase of:PURCHAE OF FREQUENCY CONVERTERS WITH BACKUP BATTERYBids must be submitted through SacRT’s PlanetBids Vendor Portal. no later than 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2026, Pacific Local Time at which time bids will be publicly available to view on the PlanetBids site.General purchase description: Contractor must provide a quantity of twelve (12) replacement frequency converters with backup battery. The frequency converters must comply with the specifications set out in Section 2.0 of this IFB.It is the policy of the U.S. Department of Transportation that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), as defined in 49 C.F.R. Part 26, are encouraged to participate in the performance of contracts financed in whole or in part with federal funds. As a condition of federal grant assistance, SacRT has adopted a DBE program for SacRT's federally-funded contracts. Consequently, the DBE requirements of 49 C.F.R. Part 26 apply to this contract. No DBE goal has been established for this Contract. However, if subcontracting opportunities exist for the work required for this Contract, Bidders/Proposers must ensure that DBEs have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this Contract. Contractor must not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability or age in the award and performance of subcontracts.SacRT hereby notifies all Bidders it will affirmatively ensure that, in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this solicitation, all contractors will be afforded full opportunity to submit a bid in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, creed, sex, disability, age, or national origin in consideration for an award.SacRT will respond to any questions submitted through PlanetBids at least 4 calendar days prior to the submittal deadline. Responses are provided for reference only, will not be binding on SacRT, and will not become part of the Contract.Bid Documents for this purchase can be obtained through SacRT’s PlanetBids Vendor Portal.
