    Description

The intent of this invitation for bid (IFB) is to procure a one-time purchase of up to twenty (20) public health vending machines for Dallas County. This IFB is issued to obtain bids from responsible bidders capable of meeting the specifications set forth herein. Award, if any, will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in accordance with Dallas County purchasing requirements. The opioid epidemic remains a critical public health concern in Dallas County. According to the 2024 Dallas County Community Needs Assessment, opioid- and drug-related overdoses reported by Dallas County the total number of all drug overdose-related emergency department visits increased by 51.4% between 208 and 2024. Between 2016 and 2024, the number of confirmed drug overdose deaths in Dallas County increased by 77.1%. Preliminary data, however, show a notable decline from 2023-2024, suggesting that the focused efforts to reduce overdose fatalities through focused public health strategies have been effective. This trend reflects an increased demand for accessible public health interventions, particularly in underserved areas of the County. **Solicitation Type**: IFB - Invitation for Bid (Formal) **Source ID**: PU.AG.USA.2438.C20523701 **Piggyback Contract**: No **Question Acceptance Deadline**: 05/28/2026 05:00 PM EDT **Questions are submitted online**: Yes **Bid Submission Type**: Electronic or Physical Bid Submission **Additional Bidding Instructions**: Please contact Paige.Robinson@dallascounty.org regarding the solicitation. **Solicitation Number**: 2026-031-7116 **Reference Number**: 0000422518 **Pricing**: Lump sum **Bid Documents List**: | Item Name | Description | Mandatory | Limited to 1 file | |---|---|---|---| | Bid Documents | Documents defining the proposal | Yes | No | | Attachment S | Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Documents | Yes | No | | W-9 | W-9 Tax Document | No | No | | Attachment A | Cost Sheet | Yes | No | **Pre-Bidding Events**: Event Type: Prebid Conference | Attendance: Recommended | Event date: 05/13/2026 12:00 PM EDT | Location: MS Teams | Event Note: ________________________________________________________________________________ Microsoft Teams meeting Join: https://teams.microsoft.com/meet/210783132586287?p=28j84bnW22vNJQLNoe Meeting ID: 210 783 132 586 287 Passcode: Mz6VC2G9 Need help? | System reference Dial in by phone +1 469-208-1731,,268569323# United States, Carrollton Find a local number Phone conference ID: 268 569 323# For organizers: Meeting options | Reset dial-in PIN ________________________________________________________________________________
