The major work will consist of the (approximate) following: The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, transportation, insurance, permits, and other services necessary for a complete installation or maintenance of street lights, traffic signals, signing, and pavement markings for the City of Fort Worth Transportation and Public Works Department. The Contractor shall provide services for City roadways and right-of-way per the attached specifications. Performance for any services described herein will be initiated upon acceptance by the Contractor of a work order having the authorizing signature of the Project Manager prior to commencing work at the site. Contractors will not perform against this agreement without first having received an official City of Fort Worth work order, except in emergency cases as detailed below. All services include traffic control devices and related costs. All traffic control methods utilized by the Contractor shall meet the most current requirements as specified by the FHWA in the “Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD) for Streets and Highways” and/or subsequent amendments.
