Q (SAM.gov registration):
A: What is the cost of the SAM.gov registration? The SAM.gov registration is FREE. We do not recommend that you hire a company/consultant to obtain the SAM.gov registration, you can go directly to the government website listed in the bid and register for free. The process can take a couple of weeks so please begin the registration process immediately if not already registered; the registration MUST BE COMPLETE to be accepted for bidding.
Q (Past Experience):
A: Regarding this request for qualifications, I see in the reference section you are wanting to see past performance on residential rehabilitation projects. If we are primarily in the commercial sector, will you except commercial rehabilitation experience? Yes, but please clearly mark them as COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE.
SLED stands for State, Local, and Education. These are solicitations issued by state governments, counties, cities, school districts, utilities, and higher education institutions — as opposed to federal agencies.
