    Description

    SLSCO LP is seeking contractors for different trades to construct the new Queens Botanical Garden Education Center. The new Education Center will house Queens Botanical Garden’s educational programs and program offices. The building aims to provide exceptional energy efficiency and environmental performance for all design and engineering elements; efficient and artful integration of indoor and outdoor program spaces, as well as the harmonious integration of the building into the landscape; and a legible and creative display of Queens Botanical Garden’s sustainability initiatives and environmental sensitivity. Trades needed for the Queens Botanical Garden Education Center project are Masonry, Concrete Topping, Green Roofing, Solar Panel Installation(440W and 5 years panel installation experience), Painting, Doors, Frames and Hardware. This project has a goal of 15% Black American Owned Business, 11% Hispanic American Owned Business, and 2% Unspecified Minority/Women Owned Business, as certified by the NYC Department of Small Business Services. New York City Certified Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises are highly encouraged to submit proposals for the Queens Botanical Garden Education Center project.
