This is a Request for Information (RFI) only and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that the City of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department (CRPD) will take procurement action in this matter. As part of the renovation of the Beatty Community Center, 247 N Ohio Ave, Columbus, OH 43203, the City of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department wishes to expand teen-oriented programming to include Electronic Sports (‘Esports’), podcasting, and other technologically-focused or ‘makerspace’ type activities. These program areas are intended to support youth development, career exploration, and digital literacy through structured engagement opportunities. CRPD’s Fiscal Office is seeking to increase a diverse and interested pool of vendors who are capable of providing services in the fields of Esports and podcasting. With a successful model demonstrated at the Beatty Community Center, Columbus Recreation and Parks desires to expand this type of programming more broadly around the city. Responses to this RFI must be submitted no later than 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, on Wednesday, April 29th, 2026. RFI submissions will be accepted as email attachments only. All responses must be sent to cmscannell@columbus.gov, with “ESports RFI Response” in the subject line. An email confirmation of receipt from CRPD will be sent within a one-week period to the designated point of contact.
