RFQ031992 - Recreation and Parks Department - Security Guard Services PURPOSE: To establish an Indefinite Quantity Agreement for Security Services on an as needed basis. The estimated dollar amount to be spent on this agreement is up to and not to exceed $50,000.00. This is an estimate of the annual needs of the City under this Agreement and are for bidding purposes only. This estimate is not to be construed as representing an actual order for that amount, or a guarantee that any minimum amount will actually be purchased. Subsequent to the acceptance of the BID, individual purchase orders may be issued on an as needed by the City for Security Guard Services listed herein during the term of the agreement. At no time shall the obligation of the City agency exceed the dollar amount of any associated purchase order. The Agreement will expire on 3/31/2027. Any available funds not obligated by the City by means of a Purchase Order on or prior to that date shall be cancelled after that date. BIDDING INSTRUCTIONS: Please provide an attached document listing all service fees associated with security guard services. This will include but not limited to, hourly rate, weekend rate, evening rate, overnight rate, holiday rate, etc. If vendor is able to provide a vehicle (patrol car), please be sure to include hourly pricing for that as well. Please be sure to note rates for armed and unarmed services. These line items will be made available to the City at the pricing submitted through Indefinite Quantity Agreement and available for the duration of the contract. All locations that would require security are located within central Ohio, and property owned by the City of Columbus. Majority of need will be at sports parks, special events, outdoor pools and community centers from May through September 2026. You may also email the attachment to mlelwell@columbus.gov.
