REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS RFQ 26-034 The City of Westfield invites statements of qualifications from interested and qualified firms for Elevator and Terrazzo Tile Filed Sub-Bid Categories ONLY for the construction of their new $34.5M, 33,500 GSF Police Station and 4,700 GSF Outbuilding. The construction project is scheduled to start July 2025 and be completed for occupancy by Fall of 2026. The RFQ is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process and will be used to prequalify filed sub-bid subcontractors and the general contractors who will be invited to submit bids pursuant to MGL c. 149 §44E as amended by statute 2004 c.193. Qualifications will be evaluated by the evaluation committee comprised of our OPM CMS, our Designer Tecton, the CPO, and the Director of Public Works. A list of prequalified subcontractors and general contractors will be provided to all prequalified bidders following the prequalification process. Prequalified filed sub-bid subcontractors and General Contractors only shall be allowed to submit bids. Sealed statement of qualifications will be received at the City of Westfield, 59 Court Street – Room 101, Westfield, Massachusetts at the times specified below. Attn: Tammy Tefft.
