Re-Roofing of the Fairview Farmers Market

The general scope of work includes the removal and replacement of the existing roofing system at the Fairview Farmer’s Market located at 60 West Fairview Avenue in Montgomery, Alabama. Work shall consist of the complete demolition and disposal of the existing metal roofing system, including all associated components such as flashing, gutters, downspouts, and deteriorated roof elements, and the installation of a new standing seam metal roof system with all required accessories, underlayment, insulation, fasteners, and trim. The Contractor shall coordinate all required utility notifications, obtain all necessary permits, and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local building codes and regulations. The work also includes protection of all existing building and site elements to remain, proper handling and legal disposal of demolition materials, and restoration of any disturbed areas to match existing conditions.

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Montgomery PIPE Department located at 25 Washington Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36104 until April 30, 2026 @ 2pm, at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud.

The mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled April 23, 2026 @ 10:00 am at the City of Montgomery, 25 Washington Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36104.
