RFQ 27-01-32 Red Children’s Fire Hats The Northwest Fire District is soliciting quotations for red children’s fire hats. The District uses these cost effect hats to promote fire safety awareness and brand recognition. These firefighter hats are distributed for public education in preschools, kindergartens, and elementary schools, public events and fire truck ride-along and fire station visits. The annual quantities below are estimates only; actual quantities are unknown at this time. Deliveries are to be F. O. B. destination. Products will be purchased on an as needed basis. Offered pricing must remain firm for a period of 12 months. It is the intent of the District to award a multi-term contract for the specified services beginning upon award through June 30, 2032. This multi-term contract may be renewed annually for a total time of contract not to exceed five (5) consecutive years. Renewal shall be a mutual agreement between the awarded firm and the NWFD. Conditions for renewal of the contract shall include, but not be limited to, satisfactory performance of services during the preceding contract term, ability to continue to provide satisfactory services, continued adherence to the requirements of the RFQ, and continued competitive prices for the services and/or products provided under the original contract. You are invited to submit a quote for red children’s fire hats. Your quote should reflect the following information: •Red plastic fire hat. •No chin straps. •Shield customized with District logo with durable adhesive. •All items supplied shall be new and unused. •Offered pricing should include any available promotions, and volume discounts. •Quote must include descriptive literature containing product information of items offered and samples if not bidding the spec item. Factors to be considered in making the award include (but are not limited to): cost, conformity with specifications, completeness of response, and response time.
